Right now and for a few hours I will be hosting at: 178.119.75.132 port: 550. This is a dynamic IP however so tommorow it might not be the same.
You can maybe reply once to this topic, so that if you have email tracking on, you'll get an email when this topic gets updated. Everytime I'm hosting, i'll say it here. I think the rest of you should follow this system too =) That way, it's easy to know if someone is already hosting. Ofcourse, you wouldn't know if he still is, but at least you can try the IP. Do not that this is a temporary system to test things out. In the near future, there will be more advanced things like a server browser and probably an actual server somewhere for everyone to connect to.

You can try to connect now. input ip with number keys above letters (not numpad). it's port 550
note: the number limit for the IP is currently too low, you can't input the last 2 digits of my ip. Ben is fixing it now, update again in a few minutes.

try updating again it should update you to version 0.4.7

Did it go unresponsive and crash? coz that's what I get.
It is very possible the problem is with my internet though... This weekend we should try connecting again.
Can you try to host maybe, loki? (make a thread with ur ip)

with my crap internet... i can try XD is possible to use hamachi (because i dont know my ip and with hamachi is more fast XD)

Try this, this is a very reliable way to get your IP.
I do have hama, but it is beside the point xD can't expect everyone to go use hamachi xD

well if you expect more than 3-4 people to be on the server with no lag you need the help of a god XD (with minecraft 3 peoples included me are the max XD then it goes to like 5-10 seconds of lag )

EDIT: hem... that ip finder says that i live like realy far from were i realy live XD

Well, just you and me (and maybe ben) for now? I'd like to do a video to demo the multiplayer.
besides, a free hama network only gives you 5 players anyway haha.

I changed port to 55050 but i don't think it will be any different. Still crashes if i try to connect to myself.
