ok i tried the game now that there are death penalties and i cann allready say that losing your only weapon when you just crated it is awfull XD.
but here a death penalty that doesn't involve me rage-quitting XD
when you die, instead of some of your items suddenly vanishing, you should leave a dead body on the floor that can be right clicked to get all the items you had previously lost, the more time it takes, the more that weapon will be broken, and the more materials you will need to restore it. when a weapon is broken you cant use it. also, when you die you get half of your level of penality and also you get your stats halved, because you are weak, and to remove that penalty you will need to rest or use a potion (if you happen to not have a bed) and also you should lose all the enemy awareness of you (but it should be more easy to gain back if you have high tier weapons)
